“My name is Deborah and I am from New England, from New Hampshire, actually.”
Why did you choose to have your dental work in Mexico?
“Well, I did a lot of online research. I couldn’t afford what I was getting for estimates up in where I lived and so, I did online… I looked at Canada. I looked at many other places, trying to find a place where I could get all of this work done and be able to afford it.”
What made you choose Algodones Dental Center?
“Everything on the internet that I had read and seen sounded… it looked very professional, clean and everyone was very friendly. When the phone called, I didn’t have to worry about not speaking their language. They were very helpful, answered questions and sent emails and the communication was fabulous! That was very important.”
What dental procedures did you have?
“For my mouth, I needed many things – from implants to sinus lifts to crowns that had been damaged from many years of bad dental care as well as some things that I didn’t even know I had, which were how my mouth fit and so I needed a lot of work. Surgery and bone grafts and implants! Ah! It’s a lot!”
Are you happy with the outcomes?
“I am very happy with the work I had done. I have a dentist near where I live who has looked at my mouth and said the work was beautiful. I am sure he wished that I could have paid their prices. It was very professional. It was top notch. I couldn’t be more satisfied with how my mouth feels. For many years, people would comment on my pictures… holiday pictures, work pictures… I couldn’t show my teeth or smile. But now I do!”
What can you say about the doctors and staff?
“So the doctor that treated me was always very friendly and respectful. When I went home, I was afraid that maybe something was wrong and I called him on his cell phone. He took the time to talk to me, calm me down and take pictures of my mouth. There was nothing wrong with my mouth. I was just afraid but he made me feel very safe and if I had any problem, I know I could come back.
“And the other doctor that did my crown work and did all the finish work, she too was just kind, helpful, answered my questions, never rushed me, never made me feel bad because I was scared. She was very nice!”
How was your overall experience?
“Overall, my experience with the dental clinic was 100%. I continue to tell friends and family that if they ever need dental work done, even the smallest thing, this is the best place to come because you save a lot of money and you are treated well and people seem to really care whether it is going right with me. Also, I used to be afraid of going to the dentists and now I am not afraid. ”
Did we meet your expectations?
“You exceeded all my expectations! I came here very afraid and now I am no longer afraid. I am happy with my mouth. There was a time when I thought I wouldn’t have teeth or will have dentures as I grew up older but now I know I’m going to be fine.”
How was your experience in Los Algodones, Mexico?
“My experience in Los Algodones was a brand new one for me. But, everybody is very friendly. I didn’t stay at the Hacienda for my first two visits. But they cooked food, they made sure I came for appointments on time.
They made sure everything was okay and checked on me and asked me every day if I was alright. Algodones… a very small little city, a very busy little city with lots of tourists but 100% safe and we don’t have anything like this little community where I live. So, it was different but fine.”
How much did you save?
“I definitely saved 70% for the estimates that I had at home and it was probably more than that because a lot of the work done wasn’t picked up at all at home. This would explain why I had the problems that I had. No dentist or x-ray revealed the work that I actually needed to get done to make my mouth right.”
