To reach Los Algodones from the USA, the most convenient route is to take Interstate 8. Then, head south for a brief stretch (~ 2 miles) along State Route 186/Andrade Road until you reach the international border at Andrade, California.

You can cross over into Los Algodones from the Andrade Port of Entry between 6 am to 10 pm. Once at Andrade, visitors have the option to either park their vehicles (for a nominal fee) and walk across the border or drive. 

Note: The parking fee (on the US side) for cars is $6 a day, while overnight parking may cost you around $10. Alternatively, you can directly visit the Algodones dental clinics, where you can park for FREE. They are just a couple of blocks from the border crossing.
